For almost two weeks now the poker world has been dealing with rumors and speculation that Prahlad Friedman would be joining online poker site UB.com, UB Review. The reaction of the poker community has been mixed; shock and in some cases, even anger. Friedman was the biggest victim of the UB Superuser Scandal having lost millions to Russ Hamilton and his now iniquitous cheating ring. When rumors first came out that Friedman would really be signing with UB many people questioned the Friedman’s moral and ethical stand.

Prahlad Friedman stated that a big factor for him signing with UB Referral Code was that they are offering him a bigger role in the site as a ‘frontman’ to represent them and that if he had signed for Full Tilt Poker or PokerStars he felt he would be like any other pro making up the numbers and wouldn’t get much credit amid all the other professionals.

UB.com are certainly headed in a fresh direction and it will be very exciting to see how Friedman fares under UB with his first assignment to be participating in the sixth UB.com Online Championship which is set to start on January 16th.
