Support the Twin Cities Nurses Strike!
On Thursday June 10th, 12,000 nurses are prepared to walk out in an historic strike that will be the largest in US history. The battle is over adequate staffing to ensure patient safety and pensions. In these times of economic crisis, hospitals are calling for further squeezing of working people, while they rake in bigger profits. We need to stand together to support our sisters and brothers who are taking a stand.
The MNA nurses are calling for support in two ways:
1) Join people of faith, fellow workers, and community supporters as we stand united with our sisters and brothers in the Minnesota Nurses Association on the eve of their one-day strike to put patient care before greed.
Wednesday, June 9th – 5:45pm
St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church
701 N. Lexington Pkwy
St. Paul, MN 55104
2) Join Nurses on the picket lines for their one-day strike!
